| | I had such a fabulous time in Colorado. It was so great to see my sister (in law) Michelle and her family and a bonus I got to see my brother for a few hours too! I did miss Stephen and my kids like crazy, but I told Stephen it was a little bit of a relief to know that I can function as a human being and not just as a mommy.  Sometimes I think that my life is so wrapped up with my children that I forget that I’m actually a person named Sarah….not just Queen Mommy. So it was great for me to go and be free of those mommy responsibilities for a few days. And I had SUCH a fun time celebrating with Michelle.
We started out Michelle’s birthday celebration with a fabulous dinner at the Melting Pot. It was beyond delicious and an experience all of it’s own. The dinner took around 3 hours, but it was so good! The desserts alone were worth going!! My favorite dipping chocolate was called Yin and Yang….oh man it was….ok, so words just won’t do!!
Ok, so I’m getting slightly ahead of myself since we did not start with the dessert, but with the cheese. The best cheese was the spinach and artichoke. We had all different types of bread, chips, apples, carrots for dipping. It was yummy. Then a salad. Then the meats and veggies. Since we had two fondue pots for cooking we got to choose two different types of broth. The broth spices (my favorite was the garlic and something else I don’t remember) that gave the meat and veggies a great flavor. And then the dessert…..and I won’t keep on going with how good that was.

After the Melting Pot we went line dancing. The first place we went was kind of a dud. We stayed a while but decided that the atmosphere just was not our style. So we headed over to a new location. Even though the line dancing was much different than what I had done before it was still a lot of fun. I had forgotten how much I like dancing. Now I did not say I was good at dancing, because I have zero coordination, but it is so much fun!!
We had one other stop, but got lost trying to find it, so since it was almost 1 A.M. we decided to call it quits and head home!
