Stephen took the day off last Thursday to go tubing with us down the New River. We had a fabulous time. It was a tiny bit on the cool side…70 degrees, but the sun did peak out from behind the clouds for a few hours and that was nice. Since it was so cool, I decided that Ben and Natalie would be much happier playing on the bank of the river. Natalie does not care for being cold. So Stephen took the boys down the river first. They had a lot of fun!! Jeremiah’s tube was tied to Stephen’s so Jeremiah could not float away. The current was not very strong, so it made for a nice ride. My mom keep the babies, so I was able to go down river on the second trip. Sadly the wind really picked up and was blowing upstream, so we had to actually paddle to get to our campsite!!
